Dental Professional Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated dental professional to contribute to the optimal oral health of our community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient outcomes and a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in line with individual patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals, while maintaining the highest standards of care.
- Utilise medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards, prioritising confidentiality and data security.
- Educate patients on effective oral health practices and preventative care strategies, promoting long-term health and well-being.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless operations within the practice, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development, ensuring the provision of cutting-edge care and services.
Requirements
- A valid dental degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating academic excellence and a strong foundation in dental science.
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) in the UK, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and professional ethics.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and medical imaging techniques is highly desirable, enabling the delivery of efficient and effective patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding, and prioritising patient comfort and well-being.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing competing demands and prioritising tasks to ensure seamless operations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care, and maintaining high standards of practice.
