Job Description

Job Title: Senior Finance Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Professional to join our team as a Technical Claims Handler. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex claims, providing technical support and guidance to less experienced handlers, and handling technical referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively review claims to ensure they are accurately reserved and reported in line with best practice.
  • Understand when to utilize external suppliers to ensure the best outcome for the business with minimal claims spend.
  • Participate in training and auditing of less experienced handlers.
  • Maintain own technical knowledge through training and seminars.
  • Assist with setting technical philosophy and business best practice.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Superior time management skills ensuring effective organization and prioritization of work.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and skills in finance and insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
