About the Role

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health, reviewing medical histories and performing clinical assessments.
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Perform various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care to promote long-term dental health.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth practice operation.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • A degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution is required.
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified dentists.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is essential for effective diagnosis and treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is necessary to perform procedures accurately.
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday schedule.
  • 7-21 hours per week expected.
  • Licence/Certification: GDC required.
