Terry Parris Associates is a specialist recruitment agency recruiting on behalf of our client. We are seeking an experienced Instrument Build and Test Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and testing high-quality vacuum instruments, carrying out repairs and installations, and maintaining accurate records and administrative routines. They will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a sound electro-mechanical assembly and test background, with experience gained within an electro-mechanical system build manufacturing business. You will also require good levels of fault-finding ability using circuit diagrams, electrical and electronic test experience, and hands-on mechanical assembly of machined precision engineered parts.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work accurately and efficiently, and strong time management capabilities. They will also need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well in a team environment.
