We are seeking an experienced Inclusive Education Leader to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in the Derby area.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the provision of special educational needs (SEN) within the school, working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing SEN policy and provision
  • Identifying children with SEN and coordinating provision
  • Liaising with parents and carers of children with SEN
  • Carrying out assessments and developing individualized plans for pupils with SEN
  • Coordinating specific provisions for individual pupils with SEN, including those with education, health and care (EHC) plans

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in SEN, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Salary:

The salary for this position is around £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
