Job Title: Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver - Belfast Days/Nights

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 Bin Lorry, ensuring the safe transportation of waste and recyclables throughout Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 2 Bin Lorry, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of waste and recyclables, following all relevant guidelines and procedures.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the Transport Office.
  • Follow all regulations relating to driver's hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Undertake all necessary training and cooperate with the security clearance process as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV licence - Category 'C'
  • Digital Tachograph card
  • Full Driver CPC
  • Full UK Driving Licence (max of 6 penalty points for insurance purposes)
  • Ability to undertake manual work
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good knowledge of driver's hours, rules, and regulations
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate - £15.17/hr (day shift)
  • Overtime rate of Time and a Half (£22.75/hr)
  • £17.28/hr (night shift)
