Glasgow Family Therapy Role

About the Job

  • Provide systemic family therapy to individuals, families, and groups, addressing complex emotional and relational challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and goals of clients.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapeutic interventions, tailoring your approach to each family's unique situation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients, empowering them to make positive changes in their relationships and emotional health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and reports.
  • Contribute to the development of therapeutic protocols and best practice guidelines.
  • Offer supervision and support to junior staff or trainees where applicable.
  • Promote family therapy as an effective intervention to improve well-being and strengthen family relationships.

Requirements

  • A professional qualification in Systemic Family Therapy (e.g., MSc or equivalent).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent body.

Salary range £55,000 - £70,000 per annum based on experience.
