About the Role

Roke Manor Research Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Researcher to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of complex systems and technologies to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of systems and technologies to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses
  • Develop and implement security solutions to mitigate identified risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to inform security strategies
Requirements
  • Experience in malware or firmware analysis and reverse engineering
  • Experience in vulnerability analysis and/or exploitation development
  • Experience in systems engineering and security models
  • Experience in network architectures, protocol analysis or binary file format engineering
  • Experience in processor architectures (x86-64 and ARM), operating systems and/or firmware internals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IDA Pro or Ghidra for reverse engineering
  • Experience with Gdb, binary exploitation and code injection for debugging
  • Experience with Python, C or bash for programming, prototyping or tool-making
  • Experience with Wireshark for protocol analysis or AFL for fuzzing
