Exciting New Role for a Mechanical Shift Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a new contract for a rapidly growing Building Service Provider in Farringdon, with a continental shift pattern (Days and Nights) on a large commercial property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform PPMs and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including motors, generators, shutdowns, and other systems.
  • Carry out isolation of plants and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity, and best practice methods.
  • Organise subcontractors and complete logbooks and RAMS.
  • Report on maintenance activities and raise permits to work.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Client-facing and positive attitude.
