Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical technicians wanted in Luton Bennett, a leading manufacturer of materials handling equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled maintenance engineer responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of forklifts.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £34,500 per annum, inclusive of 6% employer/4% employee pension contributions and overtime pay at time and a half. You will also enjoy 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and life assurance benefits.
Job Description
You will work on a Monday to Friday basis in a busy workshop environment, carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown work on a range of forklift trucks. Your duties will include ordering spares when necessary and communicating progress to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for experienced mechanical engineers with skills in plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment. Excellent communication skills and IT literacy are essential. A level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
