Exciting Opportunity in Mayfair-based Hedge Fund Launch

Martis Search is representing a boutique Mayfair-based Hedge Fund start-up in their search for a temporary Equity Hedge Fund Trade Support Analyst. The Hedge Fund invests in Equity Long/Short strategies, and the role will be situated on their Trading Floor alongside the Front Office Investment team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with the Head of Operations/COO to provide trade support and operational expertise
  • Partnering with the Front Office Investment team to ensure seamless trade processing and settlement
  • Assisting with trade matching, trade processing, and trade support, as well as settlement queries and corporate actions
  • Understanding and implementing FCA regulatory framework investment compliance and UCITS fund regulations
  • Providing project management and change experience, including trade-life cycle management and related operational responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Equity Hedge Fund Trade Support, preferably in an Institutional Hedge Fund or boutique Asset Management background
  • Strong understanding of the FCA regulatory framework and UCITS fund regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with the Head of Operations/COO and Front Office Investment team
  • Ability to learn from experienced professionals and adapt to a fast-paced trading environment
What We Offer:
  • Daily rate equivalent of between £60,000-£85,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Opportunity to work with a boutique Mayfair-based Hedge Fund start-up and contribute to their launch
  • Full on-the-job training provided by the experienced Head of Operations/COO
