Renewable Energy Claims Consultant

Daily Responsibilities

In this engaging role, you will oversee new and ongoing notifications, collections, and the effective resolution of a portfolio of Renewable Energy claims within the Energy sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing initial claim notifications and comprehending the extent of coverage
  • Engaging with various stakeholders including clients, underwriters, and third parties (loss adjusters, legal representatives, etc.)
  • Facilitating the payment and settlement of claims for clients in collaboration with underwriters
  • Coordinating discussions and providing technical assistance to improve communication between clients, underwriters, and their representatives regarding claim management and resolution
  • Conducting data analysis to assess claims history and identify trends for specific clients or business segments
  • Working alongside other teams to ensure the exchange of pertinent information and the completion of tasks as directed by Aon and your line manager

Qualifications for Success

  • Experience in managing renewable claims from initial notification to resolution
  • Knowledge of Energy claims and the ability to facilitate discussions with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the CLASS and ECF Processing systems (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • A-level or equivalent education and Cert CII certification is advantageous
