Academic's Partnership with Outstanding Secondary School

We are seeking a knowledgeable and suitably qualified Teacher of Computer Science to join our team at an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' secondary school in the Cleethorpes area.

The role will be full-time, commencing in November 2024. Whether you have years of experience or are at the beginning stages of your teaching career, this rewarding role offers an excellent setting to teach.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold the relevant teaching qualification in Computer Science (PGCE with B. Ed or BA Hons) with a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Have experience and knowledge of delivering Computer Science lessons within the national curriculum and a proven track record of working with students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (up to Key Stage 5 would be desirable, but not essential).
  • Be able to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
  • Have strong behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
