About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and assistance to students with disabilities. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the well-being and independence of those in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students with disabilities to provide tailored support in daily activities of school.
- Implement individualised care plans, lesson plan and ensure the well-being and safety of those under your care.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful environment that promotes independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including class teacher and staffs and, to ensure holistic support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of students' progress and activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker or similar role is advantageous.
- Understanding of various disabilities and effective support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and patience in providing support to students with diverse needs.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of those with disabilities.
