Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team at Montel AS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on our electrical systems across our Wind, BESS, and Grid Services assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel and Site Work: You will be required to travel for this role, working across multiple sites throughout the UK. When travel is not required, you will be expected to work from home or one of our office locations.
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on our electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Complete HV SAP training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Project Support: Support the delivery of projects, working closely with our project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintenance Task Execution: Follow up the execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • On-Site Supervision: Supervise engineering work onsite, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Assessment: Assess the technical requirements for ongoing projects, providing expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Relevant experience from within the energy sector, with demonstrable experience of working on the electrical network, ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance.
  • Skills: Previous SAP Authorisation would be advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office Applications is also required.
