Drivertemps is seeking experienced Class 1 day container drivers for regular work in the Southampton area. This position offers a range of benefits, including competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive container runs throughout the country, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including day shifts and tramping, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £16.00-£18.00, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
  • Take advantage of paid breaks and a minimum of 10 hours paid per shift.
  • Benefit from regular and part-time placements, as well as weekend shifts.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) driving license.
  • Possess a valid driver CPC and digital tachograph cards.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
  • Preferably have 6 months of container driving experience.
  • Be familiar with EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
  • Hold a TAC (terminal awareness card) for Southampton docks.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be over 25 for insurance purposes.
  • Have no more than 6 points on your driving license.
