About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving exceptional food experiences that delight our clients and customers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising a team and have experience in a similar chef role. A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent is essential, as well as a flexible approach to working.

This full-time position is contracted to 35 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum. We offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Job Description
  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
