About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our client, a leading financial services business, on a 12-month fixed term contract. As an Internal Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in helping the organization identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the effectiveness of its risk, governance, and control environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of audits and ad-hoc projects across various areas aligned to the group's strategy and core customer purpose.
  • Provide influential insight through the work you deliver, helping to drive positive outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Participate in an audit team that is well-respected, trusted, and relied upon by the Board to bring an independent view of the business.
Requirements
  • Previous audit experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Good regulatory awareness and understanding of the impact of regulations on your portfolio.
  • Experience with model risk management, model change, and actuarial transformation is an advantage.
