Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Mathematics Instructor to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The successful candidate will teach 100-level mathematics courses, hold office hours, attend departmental meetings, and complete reports assigned by the Department Chair.

A Masters degree in one of the following areas: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematical Education is required. A minimum of 18 hours of graduate-level mathematics courses is also necessary. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach 100 level mathematics courses
• Hold office hours
• Attend departmental meetings
• Complete reports assigned by the Department Chair

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in one of the following areas: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematical Education
• Minimum 18 hours of graduate-level mathematics courses

As an adjunct instructor with the Commonwealth of Virginia, you will be provided with a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 per year, based on the job requirements and location.
