Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced HGV mechanic to join our team and contribute to the success of the Institute of the Motor Industry Limited. As an HGV Maintenance Expert, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to VOSA standard
- Diagnose and rectify faults, maintain product knowledge, and attend training courses
- Liaise with parts department and complete job cards and service sheets in a timely manner
- Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or customer premises
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
Requirements:
- Current driving licence
- IRTEC Accredited
- Technical qualification or proven experience repairing & maintaining vehicles
- HGV and PSV licence
- Experience in commercial workshop
Salary and Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £42,000 per annum
