Job Opportunity:

At Randstad, we are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to looked-after children and young people. As a member of our Looked After Through Care Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people in care, conducting regular assessments and reviews.
  • Develop and implement through-care plans tailored to each young person's needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development.
  • Work closely with foster carers, family members, and professionals from various agencies to provide a holistic support network.
  • Prepare reports and assessments for reviews, care planning meetings, and court proceedings.
  • Offer advice, advocacy, and support to young people transitioning from care to independence, helping them access resources and services.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with looked-after children, preferably in a through-care or leaving-care team.
  • Strong understanding of child protection legislation, safeguarding procedures, and care planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with young people.
