Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the Port of Dover. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a range of projects designed to deliver on our Port Wide Energy Strategy.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering utility infrastructure projects from inception through to feasibility, design and implementation to project completion utilising the NEC 3 suite of contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of construction projects
  • Produce work/product breakdown structures and maintain project programmes
  • Review and understand CAD drawings and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with Contractors, Consultants and other stakeholders
  • Fulfill the role of Project Manager as defined under the NEC suite of contracts
Requirements
  • Bsc/Beng (or above) in an appropriate related technical discipline or equivalent qualification/demonstrable experience
  • Project Management qualification from APM or alternative relevancy professional organisation or demonstrable project management experience and a willingness to progress towards APM
  • Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) of managing and delivering utility infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrable understanding of CDM regulations and relevant Health & Safety Legislation
  • Good user skills in MS Office 365 and MS Project
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
