Personal Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a young person with complex needs in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to enable the young person to access opportunities in the community, try new activities, and provide respite for the parents when needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support and assistance to the young person to access community activities and try new experiences
- Assist with daily living tasks and provide personal care as needed
- Provide respite for the parents and carers when needed
- Communicate effectively with the family and other professionals involved in the young person's care
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and understanding, with experience of working with children and young people with disabilities. Training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children and young people with complex needs and be able to provide a high level of support and care.
The post is subject to references and a DBS check.
At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
