HVAC Project Engineer Job Description

Pertemps TM is seeking a skilled HVAC Project Engineer to join their team. As a specialist mechanical contractor, they design, supply, install, service, and maintain air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems to commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed HVAC system designs based on project requirements, including load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
  • Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems.
  • Oversee all phases of HVAC projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into overall project plans.
  • Ensure all HVAC designs and installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, reports, and progress updates.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of HVAC systems, conducting inspections and tests as necessary.
  • Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
