Incident Response Analyst

Meta is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our Incident Response Team. The position is full-time and would be based in our London office.

Responsibilities
  • Bring operational excellence to a team that evaluates threat, risk, and user privacy in an environment centered around time-critical emergency escalations.
  • Review and assess inbound emergency escalations, making immediate decisions based on complex factors.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners, including law enforcement, to ensure user safety.
  • Create and articulate written and/or verbal responses to questions from law enforcement, government agencies, and internal teams regarding Incident Response policy and process.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes across teams.
  • Available for weekend work on a rotational basis regularly.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze information to assess threat and risk.
  • Proven ability to make important decisions independently and multi-task under pressure.
  • Experience with social media, analytical tools, and online research.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management, Operations, or Process Improvement Experience.
  • Multiple language proficiency preferable as the analyst may deal with issues in markets of different languages.
  • Experience in assessing risk in high-risk harm areas such as child safety and human exploitation.
