We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of a small team of Mechanical Design Engineers and NPD individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Issuing manufacturing drawings and managing the Engineering Design Team
- Undertaking other drawings as required and creating associated Bills of material
- Checking calculations in drawings and using Inventor to provide input in designs where required
- Posting of manufacturing details to ERP / OPERA
- Issuing material requirements to the Purchasing function
- Issuing manufacturing details to the Production team
