Care and Support Professional

McCarthy Stone is seeking a dedicated Evening Bank Care Assistant to provide exceptional care and support to residents at their Wayfarer Place estate in New Alresford.
This development features 30 one and 26 two-bedroom apartments, exclusively for those over 70.
The successful candidate will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans, and support residents to take part in a wide range of activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
The role involves assisting residents with daily tasks, such as booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting them on visits, as well as helping with their shopping.
As a Evening Bank Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people and work as part of a team in a busy work setting.

About the role:
- You will be a warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment.
- You will have a passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of a team in a busy work setting.
- You will be driven to deliver excellent customer service.
- You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualification and relevant experience.
