About the Role:

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary teams, you will provide senior medical support and guidance to the team while working directly with young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work as part of a dynamic team providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Mid Essex
  2. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  3. Liaise with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals
  4. Participate in the on-call rota frequency 1:7, with a Category B on-call supplement (pro-rata)
  5. Support peers and team leaders

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, have excellent communication skills, and be innovative, motivated, and passionate about Child and Adolescent mental health care.
