Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring peak efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement warehouse operations systems, including product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilisation, and inventory management.
  • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Monitor and control inventory and goods in/out, ensuring accurate tracking and minimising losses.
  • Review and prepare workflow, manning, and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans to ensure productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Key Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Forklift license.
