The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to our customers in the UK. This will involve installing, training, and maintaining our range of equipment and software, as well as managing service agents and maintaining high standards of knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support to customers in the UK, including installation, training, and maintenance of our equipment and software.
  • Manage a team of service agents and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality support to customers.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure that our technical support services are aligned with our overall business objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the technical support team.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment within the Print on Demand industry.
  • Hold a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong customer management and communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Confident and able to use initiative, with high levels of motivation, drive, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work autonomously and build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away overnight.
