Job Summary

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in securing new contracts with large clients. This will involve working closely with the Designers to produce specifications and proposals that meet the clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their key drivers and vision for a project.
    • Work with the Designers to put the client's vision into reality.
  • Proposal Development
    • Survey project sites to gather information on conditions, measurements, and delivery requirements.
    • Develop and present proposals to clients, ensuring clear communication and accurate forecasting.
  • Project Coordination
    • Ensure specification sign-off for 100% accuracy of project handover to procurement and operational teams.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales and pre-contracts role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to read architectural drawings and floorplans, with a practical knowledge of construction.
    • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
    • Proficiency in CRM Systems and Microsoft Office.
