Procurement Administrator
Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to join our busy Procurement team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. This role will provide an exciting opportunity for professional development and growth within the department.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administration tasks, including responding to customer enquiries, assisting with procurement processes, and maintaining contracts databases. They will also be required to co-ordinate supplier visits, meetings, and contract reviews, ensuring all paperwork is distributed promptly. Additionally, they will process non-catalogue request forms and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels. They will also have a proven knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel, and be able to pick up administration tasks for other systems as required. A GCSE level in English and Maths is essential, as well as a relevant NVQ or equivalent experience.

Main Duties of the Job

Procurement Administration

* Respond to customer enquiries
* Assist the Procurement team in obtaining quotations, placing purchase orders and resolving invoice queries
* Co-ordinate supplier visits, meetings and contract reviews ensuring all paperwork is distributed promptly
* Processing Non-catalogue request forms
* Maintaining contracts database
