Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at PRS, working on a mobile basis across East Manchester and West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have Commercial ACS certification and experience in completing PPM and reactive maintenance, servicing, and fault finding on commercial and domestic boiler systems.

The role involves providing heating and gas engineering support to commercial and retail sites, including:

  • Boiler and burner maintenance
  • Pumps and valves maintenance
  • Gas feeds and hot water systems maintenance
  • Heating controllers and wet plumbing maintenance
  • Some HVAC plant and general building services maintenance

The successful candidate will have a valid driving license and be able to complete a DBS check. Experience of service and maintenance operations across mobile contracts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial and domestic boiler systems
  • Provide heating and gas engineering support to commercial and retail sites
  • Maintain and repair boiler and burner systems
  • Carry out routine maintenance on pumps, valves, and gas feeds
  • Diagnose and repair faults on heating controllers and wet plumbing systems

Requirements:

  • Commercial ACS certification
  • Valid driving license
  • Experience of service and maintenance operations across mobile contracts
  • Ability to complete a DBS check
