Brightwork Ltd are currently partnering with a global life science company to recruit a Global Media Manager to join their team in West Lothian.

Role - Global Media Manager

The Global Media Manager is primarily responsible for developing and implementing earned public relations and social media strategies in targeted markets to support the strategic promotion of the company's growing commercial portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations and social media plans to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media trends, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on media and communications matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in public relations, social media, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, social media marketing, and crisis communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and stories.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
