About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rheumatology/General Internal Medicine Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support junior/middle-grade medical staff
  • Develop and implement robust care plans for patients with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with primary and community care services to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of our services and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Full registration with the GMC
  • Relevant CCT or entry on the specialist register
  • MRCP
  • 4-5 years training at St3+ level in GIM and Rheumatology
  • Wide training in all relevant aspects of medicine
  • Interest and significant experience in Rheumatology
