Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Technician to join our team at Konecranes. As a Project Technician, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and tasks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure that all project-related documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Electrically or mechanically qualified engineer with a strong background in project management.
- Proven experience in project coordination, planning, and execution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- IOSH qualified (preferred).
