Ambulance Fleet Operations Technician

We are seeking an Automotive Fleet Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest standards, with a focus on routine scheduled mechanical, ancillary equipment, and vehicle deep cleans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage VOR (vehicle off road) status and update daily records
  • Ensure defects are promptly cleared and vehicle deep cleans are completed with supporting documentation
  • Coordinate scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Carry out checks and replacements of electrical components, within EMED guidelines
  • Ensure adequate supply of basic spare parts are available and maintained

Requirements:

  • Hold a full, current driving licence for driving in the UK
  • Experience of repairing and servicing mechanical products
  • Experience of using practical and mechanical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blown view drawings
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify improvements to processes and services
