Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in the production of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). The successful candidate will perform tasks in a GMP laboratory setting, including upstream processes (large-scale bioreactors, centrifugation, and filtration) and downstream processes (chromatography, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration). The candidate will be responsible for maintaining current records in accordance with GMP guidelines and will work collaboratively with team members and personnel from other departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform processes and operate equipment required for large-scale mAb production campaigns.
- Maintain equipment and problem-solve as needed.
- Understand, follow, and accurately complete process documentation to maintain a high level of product quality.
- Understand and follow safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members and personnel from other departments.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- BS in Biological sciences or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in large-scale production or laboratory scale preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to prioritize work, think critically, and take initiative.
Physical Position Requirements
The successful candidate will be exposed to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, and will be required to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
