Job Title: Child Nutrition Expert

About the Role:

Holroyd Howe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Nutrition Expert to join our team. As a key member of our nutrition team, you will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that enhance pupil health and wellbeing, working closely with our Company Nutritionist and Food Development team to ensure nutrition and health are at the core of food concepts and menus.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nutrition programs for pupils aged 4+ years.
  • Support special dietary menus and ensure compliance with School Food Standards.
  • Conduct nutrition audits and assessments of school food provision, providing guidance to improve areas.
  • Collaborate with the Company Nutritionist and Food Development team to ensure nutrition and health are prioritized in food concepts and menus.
  • Contribute to recipe and menu development.
  • Provide expert advice and knowledge to parents and school staff.
  • Support the sales team in retaining and winning business.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc degree in Nutrition or Public Health.
  • Membership of an approved Regulatory Body (BANT, AFN).
  • Experience working with pupils in an educational environment (desired).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Compensation: £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
