About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Buyer to join our growing buying function in our dresses department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your own category, reporting into the Senior Buying Lead for the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own category, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to meet quality and margin targets.
  • Work closely with Designers, Techs, and Product Merchandisers from the start of the development stage to ensure designs align with the Product Framework.
  • Assist Senior Buyer with initial development and cost price enquiries, supporting negotiations to ensure margins are achieved.
  • Prepare and attend fit sessions, updating the fit list on a weekly basis and communicating with the Senior Buyer.
  • Sample management, including organisation of samples for Wholesale, E-com, Campaign, and Content shoots.
  • Monitor competitor analysis and complete regular comp shops.
  • Assist in training of BAA roles and manage their weekly workload and daily tasks.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of buying experience in a similar fast-paced retailer.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in using reporting tools and data analysis software.
