We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Associate to join our team at Riverview Primary Care Network in Greenwich Borough. As a Physician Associate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our GP practices in delivering excellent healthcare services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking clinical sessions within the Primary Care Network, working closely with GPs, medical specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide medical support to patients. You will be required to consult with patients, refer them to relevant healthcare services, and provide medical support as needed.

You will also be responsible for organizing investigations, treatments, and referrals in line with agreed parameters, local policy, and guidelines. Additionally, you will undertake home visits for patients with acute problems and chronic health conditions that require planned holistic assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake clinical sessions within the Primary Care Network
  • Consult with patients and refer them to relevant healthcare services
  • Provide medical support to patients as needed
  • Organize investigations, treatments, and referrals in line with agreed parameters
  • Undertake home visits for patients with acute problems and chronic health conditions
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Physician Associate Studies from an accredited UK or USA University
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development activities
  • Awareness of local referral pathways
  • DBS clearance and right to work in the UK
