Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Electrophysiology team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric cardiology and electrophysiology, with excellent clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrophysiology-related conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and empowerment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (Child) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in paediatric cardiology and electrophysiology
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
