Job Summary
Devro is seeking an experienced Mechanical Equipment Designer to join our team in Glasgow, UK. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new mechanical equipment to improve quality, safety, and output. You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to assess and troubleshoot existing systems, ensuring optimal performance.

About the Role
This is a full-time position based at our UK facility, with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with proven experience in mechanical design and development. They will also possess strong knowledge of machinery design codes and safety standards, with ability to generate technical drawings using 3D modelling software (Solid Edge preferred).

Your Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop new mechanical equipment to meet customer requirements and company standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum output.
