About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at a small, independently owned and family-run hotel. The successful candidate will assist the Pastry Chef in creating exquisite desserts and pastries for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality desserts and pastries
  • Contribute to the development of new dessert menus and recipes
  • Work effectively as part of a brigade of 10 chefs to deliver modern British menus
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Excellent pastry-making skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Package: £35,000 per annum
