Job Title: CNC Grinder

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £32,000 to £36,000 per annum

Location: Staverton

Working Hours: 39 hours Monday to Friday

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join our Grinding department. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating cylindrical and surface grinders, as well as other equipment within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and setting CNC machines, including Studer and Fanuc
  • Manual cylindrical and surface grinding, including internal and external grinding
  • Assessing engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Working collaboratively as part of a proactive team
  • Grinding complex parts to tight tolerances
  • Utilizing various measuring equipment
  • Working with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in setting and operating CNC and manual grinding machines
  • Ability to self-inspect parts
  • Knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances
  • Experience with various measuring equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
