About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to provide technical expertise and support to our manufacturing site in Irvine, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and robust process operations, as well as contributing to control improvement projects and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in process engineering best practice and process safety, including the application of critical process parameters and control strategies.
  • Be the recognized key point of contact for technical knowledge on specific manufacturing unit operations, including the identification, understanding, monitoring, and control of critical process parameters.
  • Support Product Lifecycle Management, including input to Technical Risk Assessment and the development of Product Control Strategies.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to product form and dose, using tools such as Root Cause Analysis.
  • Manage process improvement projects, ensuring appropriate technical change control and delivery of robust, sustainable solutions.
  • Investigate alternative new technologies for plant and equipment efficiency improvements and influence equipment strategy to meet future site goals.

This role would suit a self-motivated individual with experience of working in a cross-functional manufacturing environment. You will be resilient and calm under pressure, with strong people skills and a proven ability to influence others to achieve and drive performance. A strong continuous improvement mindset is essential.
