About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Rail team covering the South.

As a Rail Project Manager, you will manage and develop a portfolio of regional customer accounts in a way that delivers sales and growth targets, maximises revenue across all income streams and which delivers optimum service in line with the service level agreement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop effective working relationships across the Rail business and other Sunbelt Rentals departments.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
  • Address customer concerns.
  • Form and develop customer relationships and establish meetings with stakeholders.
  • Engage in customers' own safety initiatives.
  • Cover the South of England & South Wales

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

  • Experience in an Account or Project Manager role.
  • Experience of developing effective customer relationships, generating real business growth and winning and developing new business.
  • Track record in developing and implementing SLAs and delivering optimum customer service in line with SLAs.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, superior networking skills.
  • Strategic approach with the ability to balance day-to-day activities with a focus on delivering long-term objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate, challenge and present to an audience, with the ability to compose written instructions and guidance notes.
  • Analytical skills to an intermediate level, understanding spreadsheets, pivot tables, and being able to interpret data and impart information.
  • Very solid rental expertise, being able to understand/explain the end-to-end rental cycle for a customer and an asset; the interaction of various stakeholders and their needs/expectations.
  • Innovative approach with the ability to move quickly in order to exploit business opportunities.
  • High level of personal drive and motivation for achieving stretching targets.
