Job Title: Control System Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Project Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of Control System Migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope and develop optimal strategies to minimize risk to customer processes.
  • Support projects involving the replacement of obsolete C&I systems/equipment or the development of new systems, particularly control/PLC systems.
  • Conduct technical reviews of proposals and present bid comparison technical notes to senior managers/clients.
  • Ensure Systems Integration contractors are focused on deliverables to support project milestones on time and on budget.
  • Identify and communicate technical risks to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Review technical blockers and liaise with stakeholders to consolidate technical solutions.
  • Review project migration and commissioning plans to ensure delivery schedules contain necessary activities and sequence of execution.
  • Ensure proposed technical solutions comply with customer specifications.
  • Maintain records of technical issues and implemented solutions during the project software delivery cycle.
  • Contribute to project reviews with technical inputs and strategies.
  • Support a standard product methodology mindset and seek opportunities to reuse solutions, improve quality, and reliability while reducing delivery timelines and costs.
  • Take a leading role in developing Commissioning plans and HAZCOMM meetings.
  • Identify issues early and escalate to project managers to agree mitigation measures.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of process safety, fault analysis, and reliability assessments using recognized techniques such as FMEA, FTA, LOPA, HAZID, and HAZOP.
