Geography Instructor

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our team at Devon County Council. As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, creating engaging learning experiences, and promoting academic excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and motivation
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning
• Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources

**Requirements**

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience of teaching Geography to students aged 11-16
• Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Geography
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and students
