About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Global Network Security Architect to join a fast-growing logistics organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting global networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN) as well as managing security hardware and software.

Main Duties

  1. Administer and maintain network and security platforms, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  2. Manage firewalls, VPN solutions, and network access control for enhanced security.
  3. Conduct diagnostics and analysis on network security systems to ensure performance and reliability.
  4. Monitor network traffic to optimise performance and identify potential threats.
  5. Create and maintain technical documentation, including network designs, specifications, and roll-out plans.
  6. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into new systems and applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Cisco network support, a strong understanding of TCP/IP, and experience with network segmentation. Familiarity with Cisco hardware and software, including Meraki, is also essential. Additionally, experience with network monitoring solutions and RADIUS/TACACS is required. Excellent documentation skills, including experience with Visio and Microsoft Office, are necessary. A full UK driving licence is required.
